Do you remember your first Tweet? It’s like your first kiss, first time driving a car or first slap across the face. Maybe not. Mister Tweets (yes, that’s 3rd person and highly annoying) hasn’t been slapped (too many times). But I digress. The news is that Twitter is allowing you to download all of your tweets very soon.
In mid-December, the company released a blog post outlining the new ability to download your personal archive of tweets. For Tweet Brander, that won’t be difficult as of now as we don’t have many. We hope that changes soon. Here’s what the blog post had to say:
Today, we’re introducing the ability to download your Twitter archive, so you’ll get all your Tweets (including Retweets) going back to the beginning. Once you have your Twitter archive, you can view your tweets by month, or search your archive to find tweets with certain words, phrases, hashtags or @usernames. You can even engage with your old tweets just as you would with current ones.
The company had reportedly introduced the feature to a select few users earlier this month, but now it’s being rolled out to everyone.

There you can check off an option to request your Twitter archive. Then you’ll get an email with instructions on how to access the archive when it’s ready to download.
The company cautions that not everyone will get the feature right away. It will roll out to users “slowly” in the coming weeks and months.
Please let us know below if you’ve already downloaded them. How was the process!?
